Ghanaian Students Share Their Thoughts On The Effects Of The UTAG Strike On Them.

As we speak, the University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG, is on strike and Ghanaian students have shared their thoughts about the effects of the strike on them.

When the strike will end is not known, however, there are some who think that being at home is a good thing whiles others too feel otherwise.

Here are what they are saying;

@MamobiProud – lol reading through i realized some tertiary students have weak brains like that of a bird. we had 2-3weeks to end the semester and till now u guys are still in school with no knowledge about wtf is going on bcuz of this strike and u are happy instead of lambasting govt

@39Kwamesiaw – We beg u the UTAG strike is not affecting us biaaa Retweet and like if u support

@Nursing_Mandela – It’s really having a bad impact on us academically. We need our lecturers back as soon as possible, we want to write our final exams and start national service.

@BakpaAbdul – We are now stranded. We have no clear direction as to what to do at all– going home or staying in campus. However, UTAG should remain firm in their pursuit for better conditions of service because the government seem to have no atom weight of respect for them.

@brothermhan – Irrespective of the fact that teachers deserve better, we the student body also deserves some level of fair treatment. I’m just hoping that their demands will be met asap so that we the final year student will finish in peace
