A second year student of Akokeri Senior High School named Richard Donkor who is known by many students as Owuo. Richard is a day student who lives in a town called Bobrase near Akokeri in the Adansi North District , Ashanti Region.
It was found out on 23,June 2021 that Richard has commuted suicide in his room at Bobrase around 7pm. This incident threw his family members and the people who know him well in shock.
This incident was confirmed by his neighbor and a resident who is known as Junior Tierro when he was interviewed by Pure Fm. He made it known that Owuo was found hanging in his room after a wild search by his family.
Junior Tierro also said that the deceased had attempted suicide on many occasions and complained about the bad treatment his parents and other family members have to him. “His parent searched for him to come for his supper but when they got to where he lived his door was locked and when they broke in , they found Owuo lifelessly hanging” he added.
His body has been taken to the Obuasi Government Morgue by the Akokeri Police Service.An investigation has been started by the Akokeri Police.
